Roadside tree pruning wood is a heterogeneous material that is produced during maintenance of city roadside trees, which includes cuts of the crown for reasons of security of ways as well as tree health and esthetic reasons. This material was characterized in the city of Hamburg, Germany by sampling the three most common tree genera linden, oak and maple weighed according to their relative appearance.
